Easter is right around the corner! Do you have your dress yet? This little dress has the cutest pattern on it and looks great with any color blazer or sweater. Check out Eula Fern’s Boutique to get this stripped dress before Easter Sunday gets here.
I curled my hair with a wand so you can see the difference. It’s a little more “beachy” looking than with my curling iron and I still leave the ends out so I don’t look like Shirley or too dressy.
There’s super exciting news for us happening this week! We finally finalized our house plans and are closing on our construction loan on Friday (A.K.A. we can actually start building after that)!! Crossing my fingers and toes that all of this happens on Friday.
We are almost to Friday! I hope you have a great rest of your week.

XO,
Britany

How to do a half up “half french braid”

How to do a “half up half french braid”

Below I’ve put together a sequence tutorial of how to do this braid from the above pictures.
I hope everyone had a great weekend! In-between salon work and getting everything ready for our house to be built I’m doing the best I can to get you these braid tutorials you’ve all been asking for!
I hope you love them because they were really fun shooting! 🙂
Step 1:
Take a small portion of the top of your hair. I left my part in the front, you don’t have to.
Step 2:
Separate this top section into 3 sections.

Step 3:
Begin a normal 3 strand braid crossing one over and then the other.
Step 4:
This is where you do a “french braid step”. Grab some hair from the front and connect it to the next piece that goes in the middle. And then put both of them into the middle.
Step 5:
Do a couple more regular 3 step braid steps.
Step 6:
Ending on the opposite side, grab some hair from your left side now and do your next “french braid step”.
Step 7:
Then put this section into the middle and continue your three strand braid without adding any extra hair.
Step 8:
This is continuing your three strand braid. Do about 2-4 passes, depending on how far down you want it.
Step 9:
Grab hair from the other side and do your “french braid step” here.
Step 10:
Put a pony at the end and you are done!

Have a great week!!

Britany

Graphic Tees and Skater Skirt

Graphic Tees and Skirts

|| Skirt – similar, silimar || Graphic Tee – similar, similar, similar || Shoes – similar ||
Thank goodness it’s getting warmer. Time to whip out your skirts!
I love graphic T’s and this is a good way to dress one up, just pair it with your favorite skirt and some heels. I found you a skirt similar to this one for $7.18 at Target here
These heels are great because they are so supportive and easy to walk in. I could wear them all day and have zero pain. They also go with so much in my closet.
Last week was Spring Break for my baby sisters so I got to hang out with them. One of three of them is in the picture above. She loved my shirt because it has Sydney on it and that’s her name. 🙂 She’s the youngest of us four girls. We had so much fun roaming around the square in Weatherford and eating lunch together. Weatherford Square is so cute if you haven’t checked it out you should. There’s a lot of cute shops and antiques. For a place to eat I recommend Big John’s Burgers and make sure to add a fried egg.
